Alex Dombroski grew up competing in dance in Albany, NY. She later graduated from Hofstra University with degrees in Dance and Biology, and recently received a Master’s in Forensic Science from John Jay College of Criminal Justice. Throughout her time at Hofstra, she held the position of President of Rhythmix Tap Club, where she taught tap to dancers of all levels. Her choreography was featured at a variety of campus events and departmental showcases.

Post-graduation, Alex’s choreography has been selected to perform in a variety of shows throughout New York City, including Dance Astoria, Uptown Rising (Bridge For Dance), and SharedSpace (Mark Morris). She is currently on teaching staff at a studio in Queens, where she teaches a variety of dance styles to children. In addition to teaching dance, Alex works full time as a lab technician, and part time as an Adjunct Professor for the Department of Sciences at John Jay College.
