Casey Tallarico began dancing at age three at Lori's School of Dance on Long Island, NY receiving extensive training in ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, contemporary, pointe, and musical theater. She competed regionally and nationally, earning multiple honors and awards. Casey continued her dance training in college receiving a minor in dance from Hofstra University, where she studied under Anita Feldman, Amy Marshall, and more! In addition, she was a member of Hofstra University's DanceWorks Company, performing in multiple shows. Beginning in 2011, Casey was the principle tap and hip hop teacher and choreographer at her home studio, Lori's School of Dance, and the director of their competitive team. In 2015, she became the new owner of the studio, now named Lori's Dance Center, where she teaches multiple classes at both recreational and competitive levels. Casey has received multiple awards for her choreography on the competitive circuit, and has lead her dancers to compete in the World Dance Championships for three consecutive years. Casey has a passion for the art of choreography, teaching, and dance that continues to grow! This is Casey's second season in DanceWorks New York City and her first season choreographing.
