Dana, a Long Island native, began dancing at Maple Avenue Dance at the age of 3, where she trained in many styles including tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, hip-hop, and contemporary. Dana went on to become a member of the studio's competition team and competed for 8 years.
Dana attended Penn State University (WE ARE!) where she continued to pursue her passion for dance and discovered her love of teaching. While enrolled at Penn State, Dana taught at the Central Pennsylvania Dance Workshop, a non-profit dance studio. Dana taught jazz, tap, and hip-hop, and was a choreographer for the studio's performance troupe, The Fraser Street Dancers. Dana was also a member of the Penn State Dance Alliance, serving on the team's executive board her senior year. Dana graduated from Penn State with a minor in Dance.
Dana is so excited for her fourth season with DanceWorks New York City, and second season choreographing for this amazing company!
