Gabriella Scalzo began dancing at age 4 and trained in ballet, tap, jazz, and hip hop. In college, Gabriella was a member of the NYU Dance Team for four years, where she choreographed, competed nationally, and led the team as captain for two years. She has also worked for Universal Dance Association traveling the country teaching dance camps and judging competitions. Since graduating, Gabriella received her master's degree from NYU and is working as a speech-language pathologist in a school for children with multiple disabilities. She continues satisfying her passion for dance as a Westchester Knicks Dancer in the NBA D-League. This is Gabriella's 7th season with DanceWorks New York City and she is very excited to debut her first piece as a choreographer!
