Julianne, born and raised on Long Island, developed a love for dance and movement at the young age of three while doing step aerobics alongside her mom in their living room. She soon found herself in more formal training at a local studio and later on a nationally competitive kickline team in high school. As soon as she graduated, she started working as an NDA (National Dance Alliance) Staff Member, which she would travel around the country to teach for over the next seven summers. During the school year, Julianne taught group fitness classes at Duke University and also performed and choreographed for their all-tap dance troupe, On Tap. After graduating from Duke in 2013, she interned at Disney World as a character performer through the end of the year and got to perform on the castle stage. She now works on the research team at Xandr, AT&T's advertising company, and loves running and doing all things DIY in her free time. This is her tenth season with DanceWorks New York City and her seventh as a choreographer!
