Rachel started dancing at the age of 3, training in tap, jazz, ballet and modern. Her dance style was shaped by her years performing Broadway jazz in the company at Encore Theatrical Arts Project in Northern Virginia. In high school, Rachel was a member of her school dance team and became a captain, leading her team to UDA nationals for the first time in team history. After high school, Rachel attended Bucknell University, where she was an electrical engineering major and an arts merit scholar in dance. She joined the Bison Girls Dance Team, earning the role of captain and choreographer her junior and senior years. When Rachel moved to the city she knew she needed to keep dancing, so she joined her Bison Girl Alums at DanceWorks New York City. Rachel is thrilled to be bringing Broadway jazz to the stage in her second season choreographing for DanceWorks New York City!
