Sarah started dancing at age 4 when her mom signed her up for ballet lessons to complement her figure skating lessons. Though her figure skating career was very short-lived (<1 year, but it involved a very cute Snow White costume), Sarah has stayed dancing ever since, focusing on ballet and then hip hop.
While attending Stanford University, Sarah danced with Dv8 Hip Hop Crew and was their executive director from 2013-2014. Although he wasn't as famous yet, she can technically say that she once opened for Kendrick Lamar (with Dv8 at Stanford's Blackfest 2012). After graduating from the Computer Science program (BS '15, MS '16), Sarah moved to NYC to start her career as a software engineer at Google. This is her 3rd season dancing with DWNYC and her 1st season choreographing with her amazing DanceWorks friend, Izzy Man.
