Faith Tomlin (she/her) is from San Diego, California. She grew up training pre-professionally in classical ballet at Balletcenter Studios, and went on to dance with City Ballet of San Diego and attend summer intensive programs around the country.

Faith attended Yale University, where she danced with Yaledancers (YD), Yale's oldest dance company. As a member of YD, Faith explored dance styles other than classical ballet for the first time, and fell in love with contemporary, jazz, heels, and musical theatre in particular. Throughout her time in YD, Faith choreographed eight pieces for the company, ranging in style from contemporary and jazz, to contemporary ballet and pointe work. Faith served on YD's executive board for four years, two of them as co-president.

Faith lives in Brooklyn and works in book publishing as an editorial assistant at Macmillan. This is Faith's fifth season with DWNYC and she's incredibly excited to be choreographing for the company for the first time!
