Jeffrey started dancing in 2015 when his friend encouraged him to attend their high school dance team’s first practice. He later became a captain for that team, Seattle Prep Pulse, and a choreographer for Fordham University’s hip hop dance team, Fordham Flava. In 2019, he competed in a collegiate Filipino pageant and won the first place title of Mr. Philippines 2019. After graduating college, he returned home to coach his high school dance team and assist in directing their drama program. After a year of volunteering, he moved back to New York, working in service, but quit in an effort to pursue a more creative-centric lifestyle. Today, he teaches dance classes of his own and is currently on track to building his own fashion brand.

He is grateful for the gift of dance, the ability to share it with others, the community he’s found, and the inspiration he finds while watching others perform. As he debuts his first choreographed piece for DanceWorks Season 22, he hopes to grow as a dancer and choreographer in every way possible while having the most fun with some of his favorite people!
