Julianna Lopez began dancing at age two and danced competitively for many years in various styles like contemporary, jazz, tap, modern, and hip hop. She attended Syracuse University where she was a member of both Creations Dance Company and SU DanceWorks. During her four years at SU, she choreographed both tap and contemporary pieces while also working as a hip hop dance teacher at the Dance Theater of Syracuse. Following her graduation in 2019 with a degree in public relations, she moved to NYC and is so grateful to be able to continue doing what she loves with such a wonderful, inclusive, fun, and family-oriented community. This is her eighth season with DanceWorks New York City and her third season choreographing.
