Mary Kate Conway grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia where she fostered her love for dance. While growing up in the competition dance world, Mary Kate discovered her passion for choreography at 16 and never looked back. In 2016, She moved to New York City to continue her education at Pace University. Throughout college, she performed and choreographed for multiple companies throughout NYC. Her choreography has been shown at The Tank Theater, Flair Dance Festival, Stay at Home Film Festival, Chutzpah Dance's Movement Festival, Anthology 33, and The Vanessa Long Dance Company Showcase. She also self produces choreographic passion projects and concept videos.

Mary Kate aims to create choreography that is timeless, unique, and kinetic. In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga, baking macarons and obsessing over pop music.

She first connected with DanceWorks New York City in 2020 and is eager to be choreographing her fourth piece for the company!
