Morgan trained and taught dance at the Mary Ellen Studio of Dance, in her hometown of St. Clair Shores Michigan. She studied the Cecchetti Ballet curriculum as well as a wide variety of other styles of dance (jazz, tap,contemporary, lyrical, etc.). At the age of nine, Morgan began competing in various groups, trios, duos and solo performances earning her many Platinum awards and top achievements on the competition circuit. Along with teaching dance and developing competitive choreography for eight years at her home studio, Morgan was also captain and assistant coach of the Regina High School Varsity Dance Team where she proceeded to help her team win, three out of four years, the Catholic School League Dance Team competition. Morgan attended Alma College, in Alma Michigan where she was a member of the Alma College Dance Company. During her senior year she was a director and choreographer of the senior show. While studying, Morgan also taught dance at the local studio in Alma, DuHadway Dance Dimensions. Morgan graduated from Alma with a degree in both Dance and Business. Upon graduating Alma, Morgan moved to New York City in May of 2016 and now pursues a career at Biolumina. Morgan has a passion for all aspects of dance and loves to share that passion with like-minded students. She is excited and honored to be a company member of DanceWorks New York City and to be an eleventh-time choreographer for Season 21!
